Compliance & Governance
Our Commitment to Safe, Ethical, and Compliant Care
Faith and Bloom Supports operates to the highest regulatory standards across aged care and home support — so participants, families, and Approved Providers can engage with full confidence.
Why Compliance Matters
In the aged care and home support sector, compliance is not a checkbox — it is the foundation of safe, dignified care. Every worker we place, every shift we run, and every agreement we sign is governed by a rigorous framework of legislation, codes of conduct, and internal quality controls.
Regulatory Frameworks We Operate Under
Aged Care Code of Conduct
Aged Care Act 1997All Faith and Bloom Supports workers are required to uphold the Aged Care Code of Conduct as set out under the Aged Care Act 1997 and the strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards. This includes treating every older person with dignity and respect, acting with honesty and transparency, and reporting any concerns through our internal incident management process.
Aged Care Quality Standards
Aged Care Quality StandardsOur service delivery is aligned with the Aged Care Quality Standards, which set out the outcomes that aged care consumers can expect. We maintain documented processes for consumer dignity, ongoing assessment, personal care, and feedback management to meet these standards on every engagement.
Work Health & Safety (WHS)
WHS Act 2020 (WA)We conduct documented risk assessments for every service environment prior to commencement. Our WHS obligations are met under the Work Health and Safety Act 2020 (WA), including hazard identification, incident reporting, and safe work method statements for manual handling and yard maintenance tasks.
WorkCover Insurance
WorkCover WAAll workers engaged by Faith and Bloom Supports are covered under a current WorkCover policy. This protects both workers and Approved Providers from liability in the event of a workplace injury, and is a mandatory requirement for all subcontracting arrangements.
National Police Checks
National Police CheckEvery worker holds a current National Police Check completed prior to their first deployment. Checks are renewed on a regular cycle to ensure ongoing suitability for working with older persons and vulnerable adults in a home environment.
SCHADS Award Compliance
SCHADS Award 2010All workers are engaged and paid in strict accordance with the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award 2010 (SCHADS Award). This includes correct classification, penalty rates, allowances, and overtime provisions — ensuring fair pay and reducing co-employment risk for Approved Providers.
